My Wordless Prayer

This Sunday is our second Sunday in "Forgiveness" sermon series. It is such a hard subject to many people. While I was choosing anthems and music for the worship service in this series, I have given more thoughts and prayers. I pray that our music can be used by the Holy Spirit who opens hearts and touches us gently to feel God's presence. I think that forgiveness can't be made by only our own will. Even though we do forgive, complete forgiveness is always in God's presence.
The Sanctuary choir will lift their prayerful song up to the Lord at 11:00 o clock service. It is called "My wordless prayer". It is one of my favorite ones and beautiful. I pray that May God uses the music and accept our worship and praise as a fragrant offering. Also, Ward will share a beautiful song "A Heart that forgives" as an offertory.
Here is the lyrics of the anthem. May the Lord hear our prayers!
My Wordless Prayer
My words lie still and lifeless as dust upon the sand, I can no longer voice one request or one demand,
My cup of tears is empty, I can  no longer cry, My lips have fallen silent, my prayer is but a sigh.
Spirit,  come and rest Your ear upon my heart, O come and hear my wordless prayer,
My silent plea and take them far away from me. Take them from this heart of mine to the Father;s heart divine. Speak in tones unknown to man that God may hear and understand.
My voice is weak from calling to You both night and day. How long will You be silent?
Why do You turn away?
Spirit, come and rest Your ear upon my heart, O come and hear my wordless prayer,
My silent plea and take them far away from me. Take them from this hear of mine to the Father;s heart divine. Speak in tones unknown to man that God may hear and understand.
